1977/78 FA Cup Final Shirt
Retro Shirt inspired by the 1977/78 home shirt worn during the FA Cup final victory. With '77-78 FA CUP FINALIST' embroidery under the badge and complete in presentation box.
For a club used to being a top six fixture in the English top flight during this era, the 1977-78 League season represented something of a disappointment for Ipswich with a lowly 18th place finish, just 3 points above the relegation zone.
Few supporters were unduly worried however as this season was all about the glorious FA Cup run that culminated in memorable Wembley victory. Cardiff City, Hartlepool, Bristol Rovers, Millwall and West Bromwich Albion were all defeated en route to a Final tie against Arsenal. The London side were favourites but it was Ipswich Town who brought home the trophy thanks to a second-half winner by Roger Osborne.
